Michael Woodcock, M.D.

    Experienced:

  • Performed over 50,000 refractive surgery procedures including LASIK, LASEK, PRK, RK, ALK, Multifocal IOL Implants, Tecnis Z9001 Implants, Intacs, Verisyse and Crystalens Accommodating IOL Implants

    Qualified:

  • Board Certified Ophthalmologist, with extensive post-doctoral training in laser vision correction
  • First certified Crystalens surgeon in North Carolina
  • First certified ReZoom surgeon in North Carolina

    Researcher:

  • One of the original thirteen clinical investigators appointed by the FDA to test the safety and effectiveness of LASIK. This is the landmark study that resulted in the national approval of LASIK.
